We have been learning:
- to write and spell words with the sound ‘y’ (like ‘sky’)
- about Loch Ness and what equipment a monster hunter might need
- to find new and interesting words in our reading book
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Father Sebastian has asked us to remind all parents of children making their First Confession that the Rite of Illumination will take place on Sunday 20th January @ 10am in St Joseph’s Church. All children who will be making their First Confession this year are expected to attend with their parents.

P4 Imagination Station
P4 have been having fun creating new things for our imagination station. We have been using our creative talents to come up with new ideas. Our great team working and problem solving skills have helped us overcome challenges.
Active Maths Fun in P1/2
Primary 1/2 have had lots of fun today using our new maths games. We have been matching objects, adding and fishing for numbers.
This week in P2…
We have been learning to:
- add and take-away using Sumdog games on the laptops
- play dominoes with our friends
- use Clicker 6 to practice our spelling words
Christmas Party Day P7/6
Primary 7/6 had great fun at our Christmas parties today!
P6 joined P6M and P5 this morning and P7 joined P7D for the party this afternoon!
I think you will all agree they certainly looked fantastic!

Christmas in Whitburn
This afternoon the nursery children went on a Christmas decoration hunt around Whitburn . We found lots of lovely decorations in gardens and in 
windows.
P5 sharing stories and reading to P1.
Primary 5 have been writing Christmas stories for the children in P1.
They’ve worked incredibly hard this week and turned their stories into beautiful books with fantastic illustrations.
Today we had the opportunity to share our stories with the children from P1.
