P1/2 has been to visit the Three Bears cottage just like Goldilocks. Then they picked up a trail of breadcrumbs to the “Ginger Bread Bungalow” which looks good enough to eat!
This week in P4 we have been learning:
As part of our recent House Meeting, the children from Apollo brainstormed ideas about what makes the perfect school. All children engaged fully with the task and came up with excellent responses such as:
Kind teachers, respectful pupils, colourful displays, hardworking children, fun lessons, happy pupils and many more.
This was for our introduction to learning about becoming a Rights Respecting School. The children will be working very hard to help us become a Rights a Respecting School so look out for future updates.
Heavy rain has been forecast for tomorrow around the time we are walking to Church, please send the children to school dressed for the weather. As it is the Feast of our Patron Saint on Sunday please join us to celebrate Mass.
Primary 4/5 enjoyed learning about all the different rooms in the Titanic. We discovered what they were called, what they were used for and who they were used by. Everyone was a little suprised to see how little there was for the 3rd class passengers. We recorded our findings in pairs and now have even more facts for our fact files.
Well done to our P4/5 and P5 pupils who participated in the recent Handball festivals in the community centre. They represented the school well and had great fun taking part.
Well done to our dancers! The girls represented the school at Deans Community High School today and were fantastic. They looked great in their new dance hoodies.
The Scholastic book fayre will be in the GP room this evening during parental consultations and will be available to pupils tomorrow. Order forms can be collected at the fayre this evening.
Tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) Primary 4/5 will be attending the handball festival. The children have been practising during their PE lessons and I am sure they will all do a great job.
