This week in P4 we have been learning:
- about the prefixes ‘auto’, ‘anti’ and ‘super’
- how to use a number line and place 3 digit numbers on that number line
- how to work together
- about 1/2’s and 1/4’s.
P2’s Dino Dinners!
P2 have been having lots of fun making their own dinosaur dinners and painting their dinosaur masks.

Anderson Shelter Homework Project
Take a look at our amazing Anderson air-read shelters!
As part of our Second World War topic, Primary 7 were assigned a seven-week homework project to research, design and create an Anderson air-raid shelter. As you can see, the shelters have been a great success. Next week the children will test their shelters in order to evaluate their designs.
A huge thank you to all the family members who helped their children create these air-raid shelters. The pupils are so proud of their work and it really makes a difference when parents are so involved!
Primary One Star Writers
All of the children in Primary 1 worked really hard this week to write a story about a dinosaur who came for dinner. Everyone did so well that it was hard to choose just six Star Writers. Well done to these boys and girls who put in a great effort with their stories!
Dinosaurs in Primary 1
In our topic this term we have been learning all about dinosaurs. We have been finding out facts about dinosaurs, reading and writing dinosaur stories, learning different dinosaur names, creating pictures of dinosaurs and we even created our own special dinosaur names for ourselves!

Primary 6W Junkanoo
We have been learning about the Junkanoo festival which takes place in the Bahamas. Â It is a festival to celebrate the end of slavery. Â During the celebrations people wear beautiful, bright costumes and head dresses . Â We have designed and created our own Junkanoo head dresses.
