Thank you!

I would like to thank all of the children, staff and parents of St Joseph’s for all of the kind messages of support and encouragement as I leave to take up my new position.  The kindness shown has been overwhelming.

I would  like to thank the children of P1 and their parents for creating such a lovely memory book for me.  I will treasure it and look back on it with lots of fond memories.   Also a huge thank you for all of the generous gifts and cards.  Your children are a true inspiration and I am very honoured to have been their teacher.  They are little super stars!!!

St Joseph’s is a special school full of wonderful children and I am very proud to have been part of it.

I hope everyone has a lovely Easter with their families,

Joanne Kerr

Happy Easter from P5G

Primary 5G would like to wish you all a Happy Easter.

We hope you all have a lovely holiday.

The Pupils have been enjoying working on some Easter themes activities:

  • lined Bunny Rabbits – the pupils used line to create the effect of fur
  • Bunny Tangram Puzzles – the pupils had 7 shapes to create a picture and had to solve a puzzle
  • Comprehension Drawing – the pupils had to listen to instructions carefully to create an Easter Egg

Have a lovely holiday!

Learning About Children’s Rights

We have been learning about our rights which come from the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. To do this we have been using the Unicef Launchpad website to go on a learning journey. We study articles from the Convention through watching clips, reading information, having discussions and answering questions.

School Open Evening

I would like to thank all parents, carers, grans, grandads, brothers and sisters on behalf of the children in P6M for your attendance on Monday night.

It was terrific to have so many people come to see, hear and take part in everything we have been learning this term.

The children particularly enjoyed teaching you all the different activities they have taken part in.

Thank you for your continued support.

Miss McCullagh and P6M pupils
