Shared Spooky Story

We are working throughout this session to increase the amount of time we all spend reading for enjoyment.   As part of this focus we are hosting a series of reading events in school.  Just a reminder that the first of these will take place tomorrow from 8.30 am -9.00 am.  Adults and children are being encouraged to come to school in their Hallowe’en costume and bring their favourite scary story to read with the adult in their classroom. There will be books available in the classroom too.  It promises to be a great fun event, so come along and join in. We will be posting photographs of this event on the school blog.

We used a variety of different materials and here are the finished results.

Julia – “I enjoyed decorating the stick because it was fun using the materials.”

Ella – “I liked have lots of materials to choose from.”

Jack W – “I like how it was creative and you could make whatever you want.”

Anthony – “I liked how we got to create our own wands and i liked putting different materials on it.”

Andris – “It was fun and i liked it.”

Millie – “I like how my wand has an upside down bow on it.”

Kai – “It was really good, but really messy!”

Mason – “I liked it because it was creative and mine looks like a slingshot.”
