Our Book Fair is being collected tomorrow.If anyone would still like to purchase a book they will be able to do this first thing in the morning. Children can bring money with them in the morning.

This week, P5N have been developing their engineering skills by working on the ‘Puff Car Challenge’. Each group was given the task of creating a car using just 4 polo mints, 3 straws, 2 paper clips and 1 piece of paper. A prize was given to the group who could make their car travel the furthest. Well done to all of the pupils for taking part in the sponsored read. Can sponsor forms and money please be returned to the school by Wednesday 27th June. Thank you.
The weather forecast for tomorrow is looking good for our Big Get Together Read. The book fayre will be in the dining room for parents to visit from 11.30 am on wards. Pupils will be able to visit the book fayre in the morning. Parents can come along, with a picnic and a good book to read with their child, choose a spot and enjoy their lunch. If your child is in receipt of a free lunch, one will be provided for them.
The event will end at 12.15 pm to allow pupils to return to their class to be dismissed.
If you are unable to attend a family member can come in your place or your child will be able to read with a member of staff.
St Kentigern’s Dance Show Reminder
9 of the St Joseph’s dance class are taking part in the St Kentigern’s dance show in Howden Park Centre tonight. We wish them well.
Civic Week 5-a-side football takes place in Whitburn Juniors’ ground tonight. 7pm kick off.

Well done to all of our swimming team who took part in the Whitburn Civic Week swimming gala and won bronze medals. Special thanks to Patryk who was the only boy in the team and represented the school in all the boy’s races.
The Gala-day swimming event is today . Pupils taking part should be at the pool for 6.45pm to get changed. The event begins at 7 pm and will end at approximately 9pm
