Fidget Spinners in P6W

Primary 6W have embraced the Fidget Spinner craze today.

  • We have been Chief Inspectors for the day and solved Maths problems to work out who the Fidget Spinner muddler was.
  • We answered questions about the history, origin and workings of Fidget Spinners.
  • We came up with some arguments for and against them being banned in schools
  • Then we designed our own Fidget Spinners.

Anderson Shelter Homework Project

Take a look at our amazing Anderson air-read shelters!

As part of our Second World War topic, Primary 7 were assigned a seven-week homework project to research, design and create an Anderson air-raid shelter. As you can see, the shelters have been a great success. Next week the children will test their shelters in order to evaluate their designs.

A huge thank you to all the family members who helped their children create these air-raid shelters. The pupils are so proud of their work and it really makes a difference when parents are so involved!

Primary 7 Bake Sale!

On Friday 26th May Primary 7 will be holding a bake sale. The funds raised will go towards Leavers hoodies and any extra money will go to charity. Children are invited to bring in 50p and each class will be given an opportunity during the school day to attend.

Cake Donations – If there is a keen baker in your family then we would greatly appreciate any baking donations! These can be dropped to school on Thursday 25th May.

Thank you for your support,

Primary 7.
