Michelle from WLDAS paid Primary 7 a visit this morning. Michelle taught us all about the harmful effects of smoking. To help us prepare for our move to high school, we discussed how to cope with peer-pressure and what to do in difficult situations. Michelle asked us all to give up something for a week as part of a homework task, for example, fizzy drinks or Xbox. Michelle is coming back in May for the second part of the session and we are all looking forward to it!

Thank you!
I would like to thank all of the children, staff and parents of St Joseph’s for all of the kind messages of support and encouragement as I leave to take up my new position. The kindness shown has been overwhelming.
I would like to thank the children of P1 and their parents for creating such a lovely memory book for me. I will treasure it and look back on it with lots of fond memories. Also a huge thank you for all of the generous gifts and cards. Your children are a true inspiration and I am very honoured to have been their teacher. They are little super stars!!!
St Joseph’s is a special school full of wonderful children and I am very proud to have been part of it.
I hope everyone has a lovely Easter with their families,
Joanne Kerr
