We have been learning:

• to write and spell words with the sound ‘y’ (like ‘sky’)
• about Loch Ness and what equipment a monster hunter might need
• to find new and interesting words in our reading book

 

P4 have been having fun creating new things for our imagination station. We have been using our creative talents to come up with new ideas. Our great team working and problem solving skills have helped us overcome challenges.

We have been learning to:

• add and take-away using Sumdog games on the laptops
• play dominoes with our friends
• use Clicker 6 to practice our spelling words

Primary 7/6 had great fun at our Christmas parties today!

P6 joined P6M and P5 this morning and P7 joined P7D for the party this afternoon!

I think you will all agree they certainly looked fantastic!

This afternoon the nursery children went on a Christmas decoration hunt around Whitburn . We found lots of lovely decorations in gardens and in windows.

This is a reminder that all P3 and all P4 children will have their school Christmas party on the afternoon of Tuesday 18^th December (tomorrow). Children who are getting ready at home may be picked up from 12pm and should return to school for 1pm.

If you are not picking up your child, it would be appreciated if  they could bring some party clothes in with them so that they can change in the afternoon.

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all the children for their hard work in making this years concert amazing , they all looked super in their Christmas jumpers. It was lovely to have the  support from so many parents and family members.  We raised £46.25 for Save the Children . A super big thank you !!g

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre! There was a fantastic turnout. It was great to see so many people here. The amount raised so far is just over £1,400 which is an amazing total. Parent Council and Nursery figures are still to be finalised. Christmas Crafts will be available to purchase at the Christmas Concert on Friday.

Ms G McCulloch won 17.50 in the green Christmas tree magic square draw a Mrs C Cherry won £15 on the red.
