We have been learning:

• about quarters and halves of shapes
• to compete in an egg rolling contest
• to prepare for a public performance
• to work together with our P6 friends to complete a school survey

Thanks to the boys and girls who took part in our ‘Reverse Raffle’ and well done to our winners.

For one day only, P5 will be holding a ‘Reverse Raffle’ in the Gym hall at lunchtime (12.30pm).

£1 will get you five chances to win.

You will be given a raffle ticket numbered between 1 – 100.

Numbers will then be selected at random and if your number is called you are out.

Last week P5 were studying the different parts of a flower.

We dissected flowers and looked at all the parts under the microscopes.

It was fascinating!

We then used the parts to make a labelled diagram.

We have been learning:

• to add to the next ten, to help us when adding bigger numbers
• to read and spell words with the sound ‘ll’
• a new song, to sing at our assembly
