New Session

Good afternoon.

We hope that you have all had a nice summer break and are looking forward to returning to school on Wednesday 21.08.19. Mrs. Burns and the staff are looking forward to seeing all our current and new pupils.

As we welcome everyone back to school,  we ask that all children who are now in Primaries 2-7,  line up where they would have done before the holidays.  Staff will collect the children and take them to the hall, where they will meet their new teacher.

Our new children in Primary 1 are asked to gather in the infant playground for the starting time of 8.45 a.m, where staff will collect them and take them to class.

Parents of our new Primary 1 children are kindly invited back to school at 2.45 p.m where they will have the opportunity to go to their child’s class, meet the teacher and take some photographs.

Also, the photographer will be in school all day on, Wednesday 21st August 2019 for individual and family photographs. Then again on, Friday 30th August 2019 for class photographs.

Regards

Good Morning,

With the end of the school session fast approaching, the place is a hive of activity and excitement with still so much to do and look forward to.

I am also sure that final preparations are well underway for the annual Galaday event.  A reminder that the theme for this year is ‘The Greatest Showman’.

Costumes can be purchased from Amazon and eBay for both children and adults although, I’m sure we will see some wonderful homemade creations!

Barcaple

Please find attached final details regarding P6 Camp to Barcaple

Dear parents and carers

It’s an exciting time here in school as we make our final preparations for P6 camp.  I would like to remind everyone of the arrangements.

The bus will leave school at 9.00am on Monday 20th May and return on the 22nd May for 3.30/4.00pm.  This time is approximate and will very much depend on traffic. We will keep you updated by ‘Group call’ if there are any issues, please make sure Mrs O’Shaughnessy has a note of your current contact details.

Please bring warm and waterproof clothing, old clothes, old trainers/sturdy footwear, towel, wellies and a black bag for any laundry!  A packed lunch and snack will be required for Monday’s travel.

Your child will not need much spending money as there is only a small shop for tuck and stationary items. The maximum any child should bring is £5.00

Please leave all electronic devices at home, including mobile phones.  For the purpose of photographs, we recommend a disposable camera.  Staff will give you regular updates with photographs via the school blog and twitter.

We already have your completed EE2 form.  If your child is going to need medicine of any kind when they are away, please request a form from the office, complete this form and bring to school in a plastic bag clearly marked with your child’s on the day of departure, and hand to a member of staff for safe keeping.  If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to call the school office.

Thanks you again for your support and co-operation
