• about the continents and oceans on  a globe

• to add doubles
• to get to 10 first, when adding, then add the rest
• to count different amounts of money on Education City
• to use glitter-glue to decorate a bauble

We have been learning:

• how to write a prayer
• to take-away from 20
• the names of the seven continents
• the ‘ch’ and ‘ck’ spelling of the ‘c’ sound (as in cat school and sock)

• to use paints and collage materials to make a fish
• to tell the time using digital and analogue clocks
• to look for doubles when adding more than 2 numbers
• to add and subtract using games on Education City

We have been learning:

• how to write a Bonfire Night poem
• to add 3 numbers together, looking for pairs that made 10
• to take away on Education City
• to measure things with rulers

We have been learning:

• to write questions about our reading book
• to add 3 numbers together
• to measure using a ruler
• party games at our Halloween party

We have been learning:

• to subtract to ten and then a little bit more
• to participate in a reading and numeracy survey
• to take part in a range of sporting activities with children from other schools
