A few a more photos from the day!

Having returned safely from our fantastic swimming session,P5 are relaxing with friends (and food) before heading off to bed.

 

P5 had an enjoyable morning learning orienteering and we had a great time visiting Linlithgow Palace, our tour guides told us lots of interesting facts about the Palace. We’re now looking forward to dinner and this evening’s swimming session!

Since the start of this term, P5N have been learning to play the recorder. We now have a few songs under our belt and wanted to share one with you. Click the photo below to see a video of P5N playing ‘Mike Oliver’s Tanktop’.

The P5 violin group have been rehearsing some well known Christmas tunes. They recently gave a performance to both P5 classes, click on the first picture below to see a video of our budding musicians.

 

  

P5N have been practicing their Scottish country dance skills with Mrs Patterson (to see a video of P5N in action, click on the first photo).

The boys and girls from both P5 classes had an enjoyable day at the Huntarian museum, Glasgow. We explored different parts of the museum and found lots of information about the artifacts which came from the Antonine wall.

P5N had a great afternoon with Melissa, from the School of Ancient Crafts, exploring life in Roman times. We handled a 2000 year old artifact and explored how Romans lived. We even made our own Roman oil lamps from clay and, using a Roman style drill, made our own writing tablets.

P5N have been busy planning an Imagination Station for our classroom. We worked really well together and have created some wonderful plans.

 

P5N have been having a super time developing our swimming skills. This a great life skill and we’ve had lots of fun with our friends!
