St Joseph’s Equity team

Now, more than ever, there are severe financial pressures on families in our community. Every year in the UK, £15 billion of welfare payments and financial support go unclaimed.

If you are in need of information or advice, St Joseph’s Primary School has contact with external organisations who may be able to advise you on benefits and/or financial support which is available. In order to sign-post you towards an organisation that can offer support, please complete our ‘Equity Form’ by clicking on the link below, or by scanning the QR code. For example, many people benefit from advice on budgeting, help with energy bills, school uniforms as well as other issues.

This week at St Joseph’s, we started our Project Based Learning sessions. As part of this approach, learners will chose skills to develop then decide on a project which will help them to further develop these skills. P6 have chosen to develop their creativity, team working and communication skills by taking part in a range of activities such as creating an art portfolio, sewing clothes for toys, plasticine models, keyboard skills and creating their own comic book stories.
