Code Along Parent Event
A big well done to our school Digital Champions who hosted a Digital Code Along in the hall this afternoon. They did a great job of demonstrating how to use the micro bits and helping those who were stuck. Thank you to everyone who came along to our coding event.
STEAM Week events
Our STEAM week has been taking place on the theme of ‘Boats and Buoyancy’. P7 have been conducting some experiments on buoyancy and using this knowledge to help them design model boats which will float in the water. We look forward to testing these boats at the end of the week!
STEAM Parent Talks
Today we welcomed one of our wonderful parent speakers in as part of our STEAM week. We learned lots about submarines during today’s talk.

Leg it to Lapland Reward
On Monday, classes in St Joseph’s had the chance to take part in a ‘pedal powered cinema’. This was arranged as our school came third in the SusTrans Scotland ‘Leg it to Lapland’ challenge before Christmas. Everyone had a great time dancing, singing and cycling!
