We have had great fun this week, working on lots of Christmas themed learning. Next week, we have even more great activities planned to help us become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors!

P4 loved making their 3D Christmas Wreaths! Aren’t they fantastic! 🎄
In Primary 4 we voted for “Superheroes and Villains” as our topic this term.
We have been brainstorming what we know already and what we would like to learn. We have also started to create our topic plan.
For our homework we have to explain our topic ,get ideas and suggestions for learning activities from anyone in our family. We have then to add this to our class team site. We have had some great suggestions so far – thank you!
We will continue to share our learning with you throughout the term.

As we talked about yesterday, there are some tasks for you to do on Education City today.
I know you are all new to using TEAMS and if you can, please try and log onto teams with your GLOW email and password . I have added some additional tasks there for you to try if you get the chance but please don’t worry if you can’t!

Suggested activities for this week have been uploaded into the weekly tasks folder in Teams.
This week is the Puffin Festival of Big Dreams, during the festival, tune in twice a day to watch authors and illustrators – and then try out the creative challenges they’re setting. There’ll be animaltastic quizzes, build-your-own-adventure workshops, amazing alphabet games and a guest appearance from a real Puffin. You can watch on Puffin’s Facebook and YouTube channels @PuffinBooks. Remember to ask permission!

Thank you boys and girls from P5.4 for all of your hard work this week. It’s so great to see and hear all of the different learning that is taking place. I am missing you all very much and look forward to catching up in our class check in calls next week. Remember, they take place every day! (Monday – Thursday @10am and 1:30pm & Friday 10am)

P5.4 and P6.5 are excited to start a new cross-curricular topic all about the Titanic and we need your help! We are holding a parental engagement session on Friday 13th March from 09:15am – 10:00am. This will be a collaborative working session with teachers, parents and pupils to brainstorm, share ideas and shape the planning for our new topic.
If you cannot attend, we would still value your input and will send home a brief form to capture any of your ideas and suggestions.
