Good morning everyone,
I hope you all managed to have a lovely holiday with your family. You will find all of this week’s activities in SeeSaw. You can get to today’s learning by clicking on the weekly learning activity I have pinned to the top. Then choose the day and click on the first activity.
Please remember there is no pressure to complete all tasks. Just do what you can.
Both Sumdog and Education City are available to use in addition to all of the activities in SeeSaw. You should have your password for these at home. There are also daily PE sessions with Joe Wicks at 9 am on You Tube.
Thank you to all the parents and carers for your support.
Take care.
Mr Benyon
Mr Benyon,
It’s Aaron Paton’s mum.
There are so many different portals and things to access I’m getting lost. Can you please outline for me which are the most critical learning platforms for Aaron and what content I should expect to find within each please. I hear and see everyone jumping up and down about Glow – I don’t have Aaron’s password and user details for that. Can you send them too please?
The platform i am aware of are:
Education City
Seesaw
Sumdog
My on or ion
All of which I have access.
Thanks
Be safe and stay positive
Lindsay
Hello,
As mentioned in the blog post, all of the week’s activities are contained in SeeSaw. This is the main learning platform we are making use of during this period of home learning. In SeeSaw you can access today’s learning by clicking on the weekly learning activity I have pinned to the top. Then choose the day and click on the first activity.
The Glow platform is for use of children in P4-P7 and so this is not appropriate for Aaron.
Both Sumdog and Education City are available to use in addition to all of the activities in SeeSaw. MyOn is also available for use at home.
So please visit SeeSaw first. Click on the weekly learning grid. Click on the day of the week and work through the activities there.
If you require further resources feel free to make use of Sumdog, Education City or MyOn.
I hope this is helpful.
Mr Benyon
