FIREWORK SAFETY CAMPAIGN

Good afternoon.

As we approach the 5th of November, Guy Fawkes night, can we ask that you take some time to share the following information with your child/children?

The Scottish SPCA is running a campaign where they are encouraging everyone in Scotland to consider firework safety to help keep children and young people safe around fireworks and bonfires. It is suspected that due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, there could be an increase in ‘back garden’ displays which increases the risk of injury and disturbance.

Please also be mindful, hand sanitiser is alcohol-based and highly flammable which is particularly risky if holding sparklers.
