Primary 5 A Learning Highlights 9/10/20

Primary 5A have had another fantastic week producing amazing work!

Writing –  We produced super writing  based on the title  “The World Behind The Door.” We tried our best to give our story a clear structure, use lots of adjectives and a variety of joining words. Some of us posted our great work on our personal learning profile.

Maths – We had fun learning about a variety of 3D shapes in maths and identified their properties. In numeracy, we have been adding two 3 digit numbers using the partitioning strategy.

Literacy -Our reading comprehension was based on our class novel and some of our class  created questions for our peers to answer!

Art – Primary 5 designed landscape pictures using hot and cold colours.

Science– We studied parts of real flowers using magnifying glasses. We also learned about pollination and seed dispersal as part of our Secret Garden topic.

Hot Chocolate Winner –  Congratulations to Tanvi Maddala  for going ” over and above” in her learning this week!

We hope you have a super October break!
