We’ve had another busy week at Meldrum PS! Our P6 pupils enjoyed their trip to the Kelpies with Mrs Robertson and Mrs Brown.  Our new P1 pupils came for their 2nd visit and spent time in the classroom.  They heard the story “A Squash and a squeeze” and enjoyed some animal themed activities, sharing some of their learning in their P1 floorbook which they will have in their classroom when they start with us in August.  We finished the week with an assembly where we talked about the planting and growing that our classes have been involved in recently.

Preparations for our Spring Fayre are well underway.  The fayre is on Saturday 30th May and our parent council are looking for donations for stalls (see poster sent out to you earlier this week)  They are also looking for helpers on the day, please get in touch with the school office if you are able to help and we can pass your name on to the members of the parent council.

Reminder:  Sports day is planned for the morning of Thursday 4th June (weather permitting.) Timings will be shared with you next week.
