For our storywriting task this morning I want to use your imagination to create a story about a sea adventure. Are you a beautiful mermaid who goes on an adventure to the shore? Or a fearsome pirate trying to steal some treasure? Or are you on a diving trip where you can visit the magical underwater creatures? Be as creative as you can and don’t forget your pictures! Today for literacy, I am challenging you to write a poem all about the sea. I would like you to choose a word, any word you like and write an acrostic poem. Now we have done this before. You choose a word and write it like

and you must think of a sentence or word that relates to our word. So i might write…
S – seaweed is found in the sea
E- everyone loves to swim in the sea
A- all the fish are colourful in the sea.
