Even though it has been a short week the children have been learning lots!
Below are some of their comments about what they have learned this week:
“I learned more about the Romans; that they ate dormice” (Ava).
“I learned hard sums in Maths” (Daniel).
“We made mosaics and learned lots about them” (Zoe).
“Spelling – to help me learn words better – ‘knife’ (silent k words)” (Ciaran).
“Learning a Chinese New Year dragon dance to scare away the evil spirits” (Francesca).
“Get better in P.E.” (James).
“We learned about Roman houses, like a villa” (Skye).
Hi Primary 3/2,
WOW! You have had a very busy, learning week even though it was very short. I didn’t know the Romans ate dormice – yuck!! I m glad we don’t have to eat mice to survive…..
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Henderson
i didn’t know rich romans had pets but i enjoyed learning about it.
You have certainly crammed a lot into a few days this week! The mosaics you made were beautiful. Skye brought home her fish one and I could see that you must all have put a lot of effort into them.
Just think how much you will learn next week with a full week at school!!
