We are really enjoying our Journey through the Nile topic. This we had a closer look at the role of Egyptian slaves. For story writing, we wrote a diary extract which included daily events in the life of a slave.
We also played two Ancient Egyptian board games. They are called Seega and Mehen. Seega is a bit like the game noughts and crosses and Mehen reminds us of Ludo. We had great fun playing these games.
We decided we are changing our science lab into a pyramid. We discussed what we would like in our pyramid. This includes; hieroglyphics, death masks, jewellery, mummies and snakes!
Next week, we are going to learn more hieroglyphics and complete more art activities.
