We have had a busy week learning about our new topic ‘The Ancient Egyptians’. We found out about a little boy called Manu and his family. The family had a special gold necklace which we got to look at in class. We found out about the different jobs in Ancient Egypt and found out that girls didn’t go to school and only the rich boys went to school. We were all very shocked!  We also got to design clothes for slaves and Pharaohs which were different from the clothes we wear today.
