We had a great week back after our relaxing October holidays. On Wednesday Ray’s Grandad came in to school to  do a K’NEX challenge with us. We had to work with a partner to design and make a moon buggy which could hold a shoe and a rubber. Once we had made our models we had to test them on the ramp and modify them to make them better if anything fell off. At the end of the session we all took our models in to the corridor and tested them. Our designs were all very unique and most of us managed to keep the shoe and rubber on the buggy. Abby and Erin’s moon buggy travelled the furthest so they both won a prize. It was a super morning and we all had great fun! Here are some of the pictures from the day…

  1. would like to say how proud i am that 3 pupils in p6s have just completed their skiing beginners course at hillend, well done shaun, josh and mhari.
