Hello from Blankenberge. 🙂
Last night we enjoyed a tasty dinner of soup followed by pork, potatoes and vegetables then finished with ice cream. We then headed down to the beach where we had loads of fun, sand everywhere! 🙂 Our final adventure of the day was to visit the waffle stand or frites shop. 37 pupils chose waffle stand and only 5 went for frites…I wonder what the split will be tonight! We all slept like logs and caught up on our missed sleep from the previous night.
We’re just back from a lovely day out in Brugge. The weather has been a little bit rainy but surprisingly warm. Breakfast was a selection of cereals and rolls with jam or chocolate spread, all washed down with tea and coffee.
Then we headed on the bus to Roose’s Chocolate World where we learned how chocolate is made before doing lots of sampling (just to test our learning! 😉 ) We spent some of our money on presents for our loved ones back home then headed off to the local park for some fresh air and a run around. After lunch we headed in to Brugge town centre and visited the Beguinage nunnery, the Market Square and we took a ride on a canal boat.
Right now we are frantically cleaning our rooms for room inspection before we head for dinner and then to the beach for more fun. More from us tomorrow! 🙂

Sounds like you are all having a great time. Room inspections sound like a great thing to start back in Bathgate! Enjoy the rest of the week and remember to bring home some chocolate, not clogs, chocolate!!!!

Good news. Hope your weather improves as it has been brilliant sunshine here today. The Belgian chocolate was lovely last year so hope some makes it home. Hope the rooms passed inspection! might adopt that idea too. have fun tomorrow xx

Sounds like you are all having fun packed days and getting to see lots of new and interesting things. Out of the Waffle or Frites stand I know which we would prefer… Cant wait to hear how your day goes tomorrow, it makes such a refreshing change from the norm that is work!!!
