Over the last term we have been lucky enough to be taking part in some football training. We have learned and practiced different skills like ball control and accuracy when passing. This week we got to take part in a football festival which was great! We spent the first half practicing our skills and getting warmed up and then after break playing matches. We all saw a huge improvement in our skills and were good sports doing the game.
This week we have also started being Tomb Raiders. We have learned about the importance of the Nile. We have set up a research tent and even discovered an archaeological site….we are wondering what treasures we will discover!

I’m so pleased that you were able to see how much your football skills have come on over the last few weeks and that you were able to put them to good use at the football festival. Your research tent sounds very exciting. I hope it will come in very useful for finding out lots about The Egyptians.
