P3W’s Community Walk in Bathgate

As part of our Learning Across the Curriculum Topic which is ‘Building our Community’, Primary 3W went on a walk around Bathgate to learn more about the community that we live in.
• When we were doing our walk, I liked seeing the police station – Noah
• I liked looking for the Bathgate Coat of Arms – Samantha
• I liked seeing the ambulance and police car – Cole
• We saw an ambulance and it was in action! – Rory
• I liked seeing the fire truck – Liam
• I liked seeing the shop “Poundland” – Yasmin
• I liked seeing the library because it has lots of books and computers and it’s interesting – Eva, Ross and Sophie
• I liked going past the police station because we saw police cars and vans – it was really fun! – Lucie and Cole
• I liked seeing the fire engine too – Megan
• I liked seeing the pelican crossing and zebra crossing – they keep me safe – Sophie
• I liked seeing the nursery because it was really fancy – Kirsten and Harvey

    Your walk around Bathgate sounds really interesting and I’m glad that you all enjoyed seeing lots of different things in the community. I hope you enjoyed your visit from PC Arnott too.
