Fun at the Farm

Primary three had a brilliant time at Almond Valley Heritage Centre today.  We got to see lots of different animals; the massive pig and donkeys were definite favourites!  We also got to touch a gosling which was only three days old.  Different words used to describe it were; soft, fluffy, bony, tickly and cuddly.  It made lovely cheep cheep noises and we learned a lot about it.  Aaron McNicol asked if it was a boy or girl and interestingly it was too early to tell.  It depends on the shape of the wings and they were too small and fluffy to work it out.

We had fun on the tractor ride and playing in the Adventure Zone with our friends.  Luckily the weather stayed dry so we got to burn off all our energy on the trampolines!

It was a wonderful day out, Primary three would definitely recommend it!

I am so pleased that you had such a great time at the Almond Valley Heritage Centre and that you got to see and touch lots of different animals. It was great that the weather stayed so nice for you and you were able to enjoy the Adventure Zone and trampolines. The pictures show how much fun you were all having.
