Yes, it is a fact; we are making progress in numeracy! It is not always easy. Sometimes as Caitlin says ‘It is tricky’ but we insist and then happy voices are heard: ‘I did it on my own’, ‘I can do it’, ‘I got it’ and finally ‘I love maths’!
So counting in twos, fives and tens, vertical addition and subtraction even with regrouping are some of our accomplishments! And of course differentiated teaching helps us to reach our full potentials in our personal pace.
Favourite moment of the week was swimming for Cary, I-pad work for Jack!
And we cannot forget Miss Cameron’s visit with her sweet newborn baby. Everybody liked holding him and Aiden then came with the idea of drawing baby angry birds!
More news from us next week!
It sounds like the pupils in class 2 have been working very hard at numeracy time. Well done everyone!
