Here are some photos from our ‘Time Travellers’ topic

We learned all about life in Dunblane in the past and how people lived.

We were very lucky to have a visit from Pam who used to work in the old Springbank Mill. Pam shared lots of interesting facts and stories with us. We also worked with P2/3 and learned to weave together which was lots of fun!

We learned about famous scots such as Robbie Burns and Charles Rennie Mackintosh who continue to inspire others today through their work in the past. We created our own Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired artwork which we were very proud of.

Here are some snapshots of our  learning over the past term.

In maths our topic has been time  and we are learning to show quarter hours on a analogue and digital clock. We are now learning all about fractions!

We have also been writing fact files all about famous scots!

We have been enjoying learning about the history of Dunblane through our context of ‘Time Travellers’
