Primary 6

A big welcome to Primary 6!

Our class is on the second floor and our neighbours are P5 and 7. We have 24 learners and have the most amazing teacher, Mr Downs. We have groups for all our subjects to ensure the students are learning on the correct level. This year Mr Downs is focusing a lot on times tables so we will know them all and be able to get to the Ultimate Maths level.

When you come into our class you will experience 24 hard-working students with amazing manners and attitudes collaborating happily with one another.  You won’t be able to ignore all of the colourful displays of work on our walls. Mr Downs will always be on hand to help and you will see him answering questions as if he was Sonic, teaching us new things and helping us with our work. As you enter, you will hear the P6’s collaborating and sharing tremendous ideas with excitement. You might even enter as we are using the computers, and hear us typing frantically, practising Times tables or even writing something like this. As soon as you walk into the class you will feel a buzz of positivity. We will also make you feel safe, respected, and comfortable with our class, we will all try our hardest to make you feel involved and happy to be here.

We are unique because we use Chromebooks every day and have Bookflix which is basically Netflix but for books where we can share our recommendations. For our Times tables we have pass the clap and we do our lunches in French. We are the best class in the school because we are incredibly focused, do our best for all our work and are all stars!

There is so much to be excited about for this year! We have swimming, bike ability and Max in the middle.

Whoever and wherever you are, if you come into our class we hope you have a good time.
