Primary 6

Welcome to our P6 class blog!
We have 21 people in our class, every one of us unique and individual in their own way. As you enter our classroom, you will see beautiful drawings and pictures everywhere with students playing and working happily together.
This class has great friends in it. We always care about others and make sure that they’re feeling alright, and include them in groups so nobody feels left out. Sometimes we can get a wee bit carried away chatting to each other, but we’re a team and will work together to get things done. This year we will be hosting a Burns Supper which we are feeling very excited about.
Our school is in a unique location. Located in the heart of the historic city of Stirling, we have a great view from our Victorian school that sits on top of an extinct volcanic plug. We are just steps away from a world famous castle. Our back playground forms part of the mediaeval city walls and includes the Bastion, a gunpowder store built in the 1500s to defend the city from attack by English king Henry VIII.
Our class has children from all over the world. We are mostly from Scotland, but we also have people from Nepal, Germany, Thailand, Afghanistan, Poland, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Greece and the Philippines! Even our teacher is from Canada. In our class we have a fantastic range of talents, including story writing, poetry, golf, art, tennis, basketball and coding.
We are looking forward to the challenges ahead and experiencing Primary Six. It will be a busy year, but we are ready for the challenge!
Our Motto:  We are stronger together!
