Primary 4

It may be a big change moving from the early years to middle school but here in Primary 4 we’ve taken it all in our stride. We’ve had a super start to the new session. Not only do we have a new classroom space but we are also the youngest school in the class to try out flexible seating. Flexible seating means that you can choose where to sit everyday so that you can experiment with different seating types and new groups of people and find out what works well for your learning.

We are a class of 25 amazing learners in our class who come from lots of different countries around the world. Our class teacher is Mrs Craig and we also have Mr Robertson working with us on a Tuesday morning and all day Wednesday. Our support staff are Mrs Rube, Mrs Garner and Miss Malkin.

Whilst creating our class charter, School of Rights, and reflecting on our right to learn, to play, to be safe and healthy, and to be heard, P4 recognised that we are all unique and that we all need different things to succeed in our learning. We try to make it easier for everyone to THINK, FEEL and LEARN. We want our classroom to be a fun and nurturing place to learn.

This year we will be developing our knowledge and skills of using technology to support our learning, P4 is excited about using our Chromebooks and we aim to be safe, smart and kind when working online.

Our wonderful class is a safe place where everyone is welcome.
