Primary 3

There are 23 amazing learners in our class and our teachers are Mrs Angus, Ms Watson and Mr Robertson. We also have the wonderful support of Mrs Dunn and Miss Malkin.

Whilst creating our class charter and reflecting on our right to learn, to play, to be safe and healthy, and to be heard, P3 has been learning about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids– principles such as responsibility, goal setting, respect, teamwork and balance.

Within our class charter, we celebrate the phrase:

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say

and what you do are in harmony.”

We want our classroom to be a fun and nurturing place to learn.  We chose sunflowers for our class charter display as they symbolise happiness, warmth, positivity and resilience as young sunflowers constantly turn towards the sun.  When you visit our class, you will see learners who are excited and curious about their learning, who can work with growing independence and who aim high just like sunflowers!  The sunflower is not just a beautiful flower; its seeds follow the Fibonacci spiral, a precise mathematical pattern that helps it grow with amazing efficiency!  With the help of our lovely calm classroom and our amazing curiousity zone,  P3 are going to grow with amazing efficiency too!!

We are looking forward to a fabulous year.
