At Allan’s we use Big Maths to provide a progressive, exciting and solid framework for learning and teaching of core numeracy. Our learners develop their skills in lessons which include elements of CLIC:

It’s Nothing New!

We use a range of other resources to supplement the learning and teaching of numeracy and wider maths, to ensure learners can transfer and apply their learning across different contexts

 

Alongside of this, our Learn It’s help us to develop the speed and accuracy of recall for times tables and number facts. Children complete weekly CLIC and Learn It assessments, and challenge themselves to earn ‘promotion’ to move up through the levels!
