Hello everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and celebrated Rabbie Burns!

This week’s homework is as follows:

Reading: Apostrophes, please read pg 73-92 of The Nowhere Emporium

Full Stops, please read pg 67-81 of The Borrowers

Commas, please read chapter 4 of Emily’s Legs

As an extra part of  Reading homework, after reading each chapter, please write a brief summary of the main things that happened in the chapter. This will help when we are discussing the book in class.

Spelling:

 Gold group: 2 activities from the spelling sheet, and write a paragraph using at least 4 of your spelling words.

Silver and Bronze group: 4 activities from the spelling sheet.

Numeracy: Please continue to use Sumdog for at least 10 minutes each day. Try to practise your times tables daily as this helps with all aspects of Numeracy.

Newsround: Watch and summarise an interesting story from Newsround.
