Continuing on from the research started in class, your task is to work collaboratively with your partner to research the Australian topic that you picked. Topic areas are listed below with some ideas to get you started. This is not a complete list of what to research, you will need to decide with your partner what different areas of research will be included in your final piece of work.
You should discuss with your partner how you are going to split up the research to share the workload, so that you are not both looking up the same information.
Remember to read the information that you find carefully and take notes in your own words to show your understanding of the information. Please do not simply copy large pieces of text straight from the web pages you find, you will not be able to use this straight into your final brochure without it being edited into your own words. Remember to check at least 3 websites to make sure the information you have is correct.
You have until the 28th of February to collect the information that you need to complete the brochure in school with your partner.
After we have completed our brochures, you will then be set the task of preparing for a personal talk to the rest of the class on the area that you have been researching. Personal talks will take place towards the end of term.
