Spelling Homework
Bananas: Unit 6 common words
seven, seventeen, clothes, garden, yesterday, swimming, sure, before, never, fruit, believe, decided, another, quiet, quite
Write out words 3 times. Choose 4 words and write dictionary definition.
Oranges: revision of ‘igh’ and ‘y’
thigh, might, night, light, bright, why, sky, fly, buy, shy
In jotters write words 3 times each using the Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check method. Then write out words in alphabetical order.
Reading Homework
Unicorns 1: New book – Grow your own bean plant (whole book)
Unicorns 2: New book – Flyers (pages 1-8)
Centaurs: New book – The hundred mile an hour dog – Chapter 6
Dragons: Charlotte’s Web- Chapter 15 & 16
Please ensure pupils keep their reading book in the clear reading folder provided at all times.
Maths Homework
Triangles: Revise 3, 4 and 8 times tables
Circles: Revise 5, 10 and 2 times tables
IDL Homework (to be handed in week beginning 30th March)
Make a Viking Longship
