This week the children will have spelling, reading and maths homework.

As part of a health & wellbeing lesson this week, we are looking at how we change from a baby to a child. If possible, could you give your child a photograph of when they were a baby or toddler to bring in tomorrow? (Tuesday).

Please dictate the following for pupils to write words in their jotter.

Rows of daffodils were ruffling in the faint spring breeze. We arrived at the wildlife park and paid at the office. A family ticket was on special offer and came with free raffle tickets! We saw many magnificent animals including elephants and pheasants. I took photos on my mobile phone.

Oranges: revision of ‘u-e’ and ‘a-e’

In jotters write words 3 times each using the Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check method. Choose 3 words and include them each in a sentence.

Unicorns 1: New book – Pedal Power (whole book)

Unicorns 2: New book – Korka mighty elf (pages 1-8)

Centaurs: New book – The hundred mile an hour dog – Chapter 5

Dragons: Charlotte’s Web- Chapter 13 & 14

Please ensure pupils keep their reading book in the clear reading folder provided at all times.
