All school meals in Shetland’s schools are prepared freshly each day, with 100% of fish and milk coming from local sources, as well as 80% of meat used.

The cost of school lunches is £2.50 per day for P6-7. Pupils in P1-5 are still eligible to free school meals.

At Tingwall we have a 3 week rolling menu Menu 2024.2025 and meals are booked through your ParentPay account. Pupils with allergies or intolerances will be offered an ‘Adjusted Diet Option’ on ParentPay – Wk1 Monday would be a gluten free and/or dairy free pizza for example.
