Netball Team

Well done to our Netball Team on completing their fixtures.

They really enjoyed playing and we’ve just heard that the team have won the ‘Sportsmanship’ Trophy, which is fantastic news.

Many thanks to Louise Moar for organising and to our other parent helpers who transported players and came along to show their support.

Netball Team

Our Netball team were very excited to travel up to Brae Games Hall on Monday, to play their first fixtures against Aith and Whiteness.  They met lots of new friends, had fun and showed good sportsmanship. They are looking forward to travelling up to Yell on Tuesday for their next matches. Thanks to Emily Williamson and Louise Moar for organising practise sessions and Annette Stickle who accompanied the bairns.

Health & Wellbeing Census

Shetland Islands Council is planning to ask all pupils in P5 to S6 to take part in a survey about their health and wellbeing. The findings will help Shetland Islands Council to understand the needs, strengths and possible concerns of children and young people, which will help plan future improvements to local services. Parents will receive a letter providing more detailed information about the Census, and the opportunity to let us know if they do not wish for their child to take part.
