We really enjoyed designing and carving pumpkins. Take a look!
We have had a good first week back at school! We love our spooky story corner and have been busy playing in the shop and making potions in our witches kitchen.
We enjoyed making robots today out of place value materials. We worked in pairs and had to find out how much our robots cost. We did this by counting how many hundreds, tens and units we used. It was challenging as we had to convert ones into tens and tens into hundreds. There were some expensive robots!
We had a super day for our moving up day! We were very busy building a house in our school trees. We worked in groups to build walls, rooms, a garden and have a water supply in our house.
We started testing out our helmets! We increased the height by 50cm each time. We got up to 3 meters today and have four teams left! Who’s helmet will save the egg from the tallest height next week?
We have been learning about the importance of wearing helmets to protect our skull. We have designed and made our own helmet for an…egg!
Here they are!
