We started testing out our helmets! We increased the height by 50cm each time. We got up to 3 meters today and have four teams left! Who’s helmet will save the egg from the tallest height next week?

Here is our show and tell rota for this term:
Winter’s Dad Martin came in for show and tell today.
He was in the Jarl Squad for Up Helly Aa. He wore his Viking suit and told us about how each part of it was made. We enjoyed holding the shield, axe and dagger!
We took part in a workshop from The Glasgow Science center. It was all about the body. The first part was called Disgusting Digestion. We learned about healthy food choices and how food passes through the body.
There were lots of activities in the second part of the workshop – we really enjoyed them!
We made our own fossils! First we made the salt dough, then pressed a toy skeleton dinosaur in it. We let it dry then painted it.
