The children said this was ‘the best spelling challenge ever!’ They had to write their spelling words on the playground using chalk then try to hit each word with a water balloon after spelling it out.

We went on a school trip to Eshaness last week to learn about Shetland geology. We walked from the Eshaness lighthouse to Da Grind o’ da Navir. We walked over 4 miles, it was a lovely day! 🙂
