Vaila chose Susan Boyle as her ‘famous Scot’ to present to the class. It was very interesting when Vaila showed us Susan Boyle’s first audition on ‘Britain’s got talent’. We could see the judges and the audience rolling their eyes when Susan walked on, thinking that she wouldn’t be very good. Then Susan started to sing and everyone was amazed at how good she was. This teaches us not to judge people based on how they look. Susan’s talent was amazing, Vaila told us all about what Susan has achieved, she has done very well for herself because she never gave up on her dream. Another lesson from Susan’s story!
