Week 2 Archery and Bikeability

P1/2 have been extremely creative this week. We made a set of cards to give out on birthday and everyone has drawn a self portrait week. There are lots of materials available that have inspired some children to be curious and creative.
Tooth brushing was introduced on Thursday.

This will only happen a few times per week.
We’ve worked on lots of skills this week including, listening, turn taking and counting. The class are leaning about syllables. Ask your child how many syllables are in a word. Words with only 1 syllable are tricky. Next week, we will begin Drawing Club! I am really looking forward to this!

Please ensure your child has a jacket and rubber boots at school so we can go outside in all weather.

P34 made Formidable creations after reading Formidable Sid and revised the Zones of Regulation.

P5/6 had a great week. We worked hard improving our understanding of 6 digit numbers. We even played bingo! We discussed nouns and adjectives and used them in sentences.

We spent time writing our Big Write story about our hobbies and interests. We did so well talking about our emotions and creating posted to show the Zones of Regulations.

p67 have studied Forces, worked at their personal projects, wrote recounts, worked on place value and length and met their new teacher Mrs Georgeson.

Bikeability has started for p6 and we’ve had a Friday active breakfast club.  What a fantastic week!
