Introducing Mrs Ann-Marie Flaws who has just joined the Hamnavoe team as Acting Head Teacher for the remainder of the term.

I am delighted to be in Hamnavoe Primary School for the remainder of this term as Acting Head Teacher.  It is a real privilege to return to my roots, having attended this school as a child myself.  I am passionate about my career in education and supporting children to grow in confidence to achieve their full potential.  I really value building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and the wider school community. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome – I already very much feel part of the team and the wider school community.  The door is always open, so do pop along or get in touch if you have any questions or queries.

This excellent group of bairns enjoyed a hot chocolate and a chat with Mrs Flaws as a reward for being in the Haven Club.
