Welcome back Hamnavoe.  We’ve got a great year ahead of us.
Primary 1 and 2 have settled in well to their new class. Everyone is enjoying the free flow play environment with lots of time spent outdoors. Everyone made their own coat peg label on Wednesday. On Thursday the class had PE with Mr Kirkness and on Friday was art with Mrs Burr. Everyone is managing well with the snack and lunch routines with lots of children going up for seconds at lunch time! Thanks for a great first week everyone.

P3/4 settling in great. Free play, construction, stories and drawing club, making birthday cards and writing about their holidays 😊

p5/6 are a great class and are really enjoying working with their new teacher.  We will add their photos next week.

P6/7 have made a great start.  They have been working co-operatively on many tasks including their class charter which they have all signed.  They have started their topic in forces and their personal projects.  There will be a big emphasis on talking and listening in term 1.

The new goals are now in position and our new swings have been delivered.

There’s lots of clothes and boots left from last years p1/2. Feel free to come in and rummage if you think your child’s belongings are here. The rubber boots may need to come home to check sizing.

We presented our first star badges and secret star badges.  Well done!
