Week 6 Gardening Night and How to Rob a Bank

This week our P12 have been practising their listening and talking, doing spelling outdoors and observing the nature we have in our grounds.   P34 have been continuing their human body project learning about healthy eating, p56 have been linking their learning on coastlines to the names of places in Shetland, and producing some amazing undersea art, p67 have been creating their own multiplication games and p567 have been learning about safe passwords and cyber security in a workshop called How to Rob a Bank.  We have a guest helpers in to lead a workshop on netmending on Friday afternoon which was fantastic.  The school garden also saw repairs with a great group of volunteers working to improve the fencing, pond area and generally making it look much better.  All our crops are now planted and we just need to keep them watered so we get lovely veg to eat in the Autumn.  Well done Star Badge winners this week.
