It is a special week with the coronation of Charles the Third. Our classes have all enjoyed learning related to this event and special coronation bears and certificates were presented to our Star Badge winners.
Our primary sevens had a transition visit to the Anderson High school. They are now very much looking forward to moving up. There will be lots more transition activities in the next few months.
P34 have been learning French words for parts of the body and following instructions in French to make a monster. They have been learning about how muscles contract and relax and measuring them to see the difference and generating stories using Where, Who, What games.
P12 are excited about their caterpillars arriving. They made finger print union Jack’s and practised their talking in show and tell.
p6 have started their Bikeability training with Active schools. They will be in on the road next week.
p56 have been thinking about the monarchy and some pupils were elected to be king or queen for a day. They looked very regal in their crown and cloak and made their own sceptre and mace.
